This is Caroline Aiken's first of two live albums recorded at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA. Aiken wrote or co-wrote all 12 of the album's songs. The stripped-down live performances, featuring primarily acoustic guitar and vocals, suit Aiken's bluesy-folk style. The Indigo Girls provide background vocals on some tracks. Live at the Attic is not as strong as her second live album, Live Bait, but it is still a worthwhile find. ~ Tim Griggs, All Music Guide
