Curtis Mayfield and runway model/singer Linda Clifford made beautiful music together. But except for "Between You Baby and Me," a number 14 R&B hit in 1979, the unlikely combo went unnoticed by the masses. This two-disc CD combines their album together (The Right Combination) with eight solos by Clifford and three by Mayfield. The Right Combination featured contrasting dancefloor jams and doo wop-ish ballads. Ms. Clifford overshadowed Mayfield at times, particularly on the steppers.
