One More Love Song
Freddy Cole

Released 1978

An early LP by Nat King Cole's brother Freddy that suffered from bad packaging and promotion. Recorded in Europe, producer Marcel Stellman did a fine job on the tracks, which consist of fresh originals and a couple of remakes -- "Isn't She Lovely" and "Hello Like Before" -- that deserved better. Freddy's voice is lighter and doesn't have the resonance of his big brother, but it is warm and has a way of caressing lyrics that keeps you interested. Very competitive with the romantic albums cut in this era by others. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
