On this LP, Hank Penny's early career as a Western swing bandleader with his Alabama-based Radio Cowboys is explored. The 14 selections (which include four instrumentals) feature Penny along with such players as fiddlers Sheldon Bennett and Boudleaux Bryant, banjoist Louis Dumont and steel guitarists Noel Boggs and Eddie Duncan.
