Greatest Hits, Vols. 1 & 2 Roy Drusky |
Released June 05, 2007
Considering the severe lack of reissued material available by the mellow-voiced country singer Roy Drusky, this two-fer from Collector's Choice Music is a welcome release. Although the enthusiast may find this disc incomplete, it gives the casual listener a chance to sample Drusky's mid-'60s Mercury recordings, including three of his Top Ten country hits, "Pick of the Week," "Peel Me a 'Nanner," and "Rainbows and Roses." Unfortunately, a few of Drusky's biggest hits, like "Yes, Mr. Peters," his number one duet with Priscilla Mitchell, are absent. ~ Al Campbell, All Music Guide
